its not a chrome wheel bro, its a paint face with a polished lip.
is there a hard clear coat that the factory puts on there? what do you do about that?
Shoot a the clear coat of coarse.

YES. We would not stay in business very long if we didn’t when needed. The wheel repair you see now was on a polished Iforged wheel with no clear coat. Some wheels are clear coated and some are not. If we repair a wheel that comes factory with clear, it will be restored just as it was brand new. So to answer you question, yes!
im thinking of doing this my self in the uk an have a couple of questions about tools,the poloshing tool was that just a grinder with a polishing head? also what capasity air tank do you use on you compressor? im hoping to do this out the back of a van so all tips and help much appriciated

Who told you that? Bent wheel repair requires balancing, not curb rash repair.

i have 4 alloy land rover rims that i need to fix because a mud pit scratched them,will this fix just the lip or everything? will this change the weight of my rims?
